Nata Goderdzishvili is a legal expert with over 20 years of leadership experience specializing in cybersecurity law, digital governance, and EU legal approximation. Throughout her career, she has driven institutional reforms and digital transformation for major global organizations including the EU, NATO, Council of Europe, and USAID. As a former Head of the Legal Department at Georgia’s Digital Governance Agency, she was the primary architect of the nation’s cybersecurity governance system and landmark legislation such as the Information Security Act and the Law on Electronic Trust Services. Beyond her public service, she is an international consultant who has delivered capacity-building initiatives across the Indo-Pacific and Central Asia. A committed advocate for diversity in tech, she co-founded the Women in Cyber (WIC) Georgia initiative and has served as a Cybersecurity Lecturer at Georgian-American University since 2012.

 

Nata holds honors degrees in law and is notably the only Georgian lawyer to have obtained the SANS Institute’s Global Information Assurance Certificate in Legal Issues in Information Technology and Security. She is fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
