Mr. Lasha Mdivani is a Partner and Legal Director at McGill. Besides the exceptional knowledge and experience in healthcare law, his practice is also focused on corporate law, privatization, M&A and other business transactions as well as on litigation.

His 17 years practice includes advising on different business matters, corporate structuring, real estate, management, banking, and also guiding startups on legal issues of different types.

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Mr. Mdivani served as General Counsel at the largest medical corporation (LSE listed) in Georgia for 6 years. Lasha was engaged in more than 20 significant M&A transactions (total $100 million), where he managed reorganization and layoff processes, structuring numerous types of complex transactions as well as dealing with various stakeholders. Previously he held various key legal positions while working at different government bodies and private corporations.

Mr. Mdivani holds the Master’s degree in law (with honors) from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2002) and LLM degree (with honors) from Chicago-Kent Collage of Law IIT (2017). He is a member of Georgian Bar Association (GBA).

Lasha has remarkable record of training legal professionals (more than 80 trainings with 1600+ participants) in various legal fields in cooperation with ABA and GBA

Mr. Mdivani is fluent in English and Russian, together with his native Georgian.
